Freemont Street is really cool. In the mall there's a huge computer animated ceiling display. I think that's what's called the Freemont Street experience.

There's a two bit circus at circus circus. Call and ask when the show is first, otherwise you'll just be waiting around for the thing. Ditto the pirate battle on the strip.

And Boulder Dam is a great thing to see. The whole place is a historic area. You can read about the Mountain Meadows Massacre, which was close, and the Grand Canyon. The story of its exploration is really cool.

boulder dam ill have to remember that
thanks

Tips for a neato torpedo trip to Vegas-

- Choose a good hotel. If you've got the dough, go for the Hard Rock (it's hip and there's lots of people watching to be had there). If money's a bit of an issue, there are a number of other decent places that are giving bargain-basement rates, like The Stratospere and The Rio. Be sure to check some of the outside-of-the-strip hotels too, as they'll have some *****in' rates AND not be subject to constant tourist traffic.

- Check out Fremont Street. The last time I was there, they cemented in the street and turned the area into a gigantic open-air mall-like place. Tons of shops, tons of casinos, and there's the "Fremont Street Experience", too.

- If you wanna get away from the city, you can take a trip to Boulder Dam, which is a couple miles away. Not only is it a working dam, but it's also a tourist attraction complete with tours and exhibits, which are totally cool.

- Check out some of the nicer, higher-end hotel/casinos, if only just for the tourism aspect of things. These include the Luxor (its elevators go up and down at an angle), the Bellagio, and the Monte Carlo. You simply won't believe the kind of money that was put into these joints- some of the details that were put into these places is just remarkable.

thanks for the tips
