Mine says seperated because I am. Why lie? I'm not married and not yet divorced. Hmmm not yet divorced is still married in my book. Sorry if it sounds hard hearted... - - ... Pacific and Carefree you're both right. Or could be anyway, depending on the situation. Care I think you'll admit MOST people on these dating sites who are "separated" are just recently dumped or out of (sometimes still IN) an ugly situation and are looking for a shoulder to cry on or some affirmation of their worth to someone else. And Pacific we all know of cases where the marriage has been dead for a long time, the couple have been living separate lives for months or years, and it's all over but the judge's gavel. The emotional roller coaster has pretty much run it's course and they're moving on with their lives. I agree with really big squirrel man. We have alot of real estate to divide and it may take awhile. I just want to get on with my life, as he has, and enjoy this site...it's fun. Shoot me. |

Will give you credit for telling the truth and follow your threads to see what you are about but not about to date anyone that is still a little bit married. Kind of like being a little bit pregnant. Getting a divorce is not the hard and doesn't take that long if you just "do it". Even by publication it is what 90 days in most states? I don't think anybody died for not having a date that long but maybe I just haven't heard of it. Actually, I'm not dying because I don't have a date. I believe my profile states "someone to hang out with". My husband of 16 years left a month ago for some stupid bimbo, I've filed for divorce, there's no chance of reconciliation and I'm not going to come on here and lie or fabricate. I'm seperated....and couldn't be happier. |
