It's appalling many young people seem to like next-door relationships and, as I've found out, 8 out of 10 of such affairs crashes on soft stones within a year or two.

Many things I've figured are responsible for the cravings for such neighbourhood relationships as well as their eminent failures. Many people can't differentiate their desire for frequent sex and cheap romance from what they really want in a relationship.

Apart from lack of self-knowledge, another failure-factor is insecurity - and this one is a two-edged sword. Many young people cringe at the thought of going out to meet strangers or persons far from their neck of the woods for sex or fun, causing them to eagerly clinch to their hoods and enjoy what's available.
