I think your profile is great. Everyone has been hurt
and why hide it, but remember never regret anything
that makes you smile and you will find the one you are
looking for.
well said drinker

well, no one else is rating your profile - they are just saying hi. People are afraid because sometimes people say they want their profile rated and when you do rate it they get mad.
lol never any advice is good advicedrinker

I like your pictures. I think you need to write more about your interests. If they are too many to name, at least name some of them. A woman needs to get an idea of who you are and what you like to do. Also, I don't think it is good to say all the negative stuff about your former relationship right there in your profile. Women are going to think you haven't gotten over it yet. Try to say something a little more positive about who you want to meet and what you have to share with her.

Good luck. Come hang around the forums and you will meet lots of people.flowerforyou
ty for the info

i wrote this for my mom after she past away
keep your famliy close you never know how long you have

A mother is special.
She's as soft and graceful as a butterfly,
yet as strong and courageous
as a grizzly bear.
Her heart is large enough to hold
everyone's pain and joy.
Her hands are always gentle and soothing.
Her arms are always warm and tender.
She works hard to make a
home feel like home,
and she strives to make life pleasant
and comfortable for those she loves.
She never fails to go that extra mile to
make the holidays happy and memorable.
Her job is the most difficult and
demanding ever known to any human being,
yet she's fully dedicated to the task.
She's always there for her family,
guiding them and keeping them safe from harm.
She owns a magical way to raise
spirits and make everything feel better.
And her sympathy, unselfishness
and forgiveness are unending.
All that anyone is or could ever hope to be
can be attributed to a mother.
She instills the teachings
that will last a lifetime.
She sows the seeds of virtue and morality,
and in the process, she opens up love
and vast horizons.
She's always watching and hoping that
her children's goals will have meaning.
She always listens and tries to understand
even when it's difficult to do so.
She's a true friend in every sense of the word.
She's noble and sublime,
and holds all the beauty of a golden day,
yet even during the storms,
she always shines bright like an evening star.
Her name should be honored well,
for she's the closest thing to God on earth.

Man is as strong inside as he is out side if he has the ability to expose his heart! You sir, have done that here very well....
Love her everyday of her life and make as many NEW memories as you can with her, so she has all them to look back into.

this i wrote a little bit back

My precious daughter,
you came into my life 5years ago
and taught me so many
wonderful and beautiful things
as you grew.
And though I held you
in my arms,
you held my hope for tomorrow
in yours,
making my life and
my dreams worthwhile.
Simply by being you,
you made each day meaningful,
opening my heart
to its fullest capacity to love
and to appreciate being alive.
And I want you to know
how much I love you.

I feared being alone
until I learned to like
myself.

I feared failure
until I realized that I only
fail when I don't try.

I feared success
until I realized
that I had to try
in order to be happy
with myself.

I feared people's opinions
until I learned that
people would have opinions
about me anyway.

I feared rejection
until I learned to
have faith in myself.

I feared pain
until I learned that
it's necessary
for growth.

I feared the truth
until I saw the
ugliness in lies.

I feared life
until I experienced
its beauty.

I feared death
until I realized that it's
not an end, but a beginning.

I feared my destiny,
until I realized that
I had the power to change
my life.

I feared hate
until I saw that it
was nothing more than
ignorance.

I feared love
until it touched my heart,
making the darkness fade
into endless sunny days.

I feared ridicule
until I learned how
to laugh at myself.

I feared growing old
until I realized that
I gained wisdom every day.

I feared the future
until I realized that
life just kept getting
better.

I feared the past
until I realized that
it could no longer hurt me.

I feared the dark
until I saw the beauty
of the starlight.

I feared the light
until I learned that the
truth would give me
strength.

I feared change,
until I saw that
even the most beautiful butterfly
had to undergo a metamorphosis
before it could fly Send me a message!
