i can not cook, not the best housekeeper, and i snore at times

And that's your worst qualities?

What? Like no humongous tumors or something growing out of your head?

Almost a keeper I would say!

I am a total a$$hole.

I am extraordinarily truthful. If you ask me "do these pants make me look fat?" Then you can expect a brutally honest answer from me.

I don't like walking in the rain. Don't like holding hands. Hate all that cuddling stuff. I will pick flowers, but that is mostly because I just think they are pretty and might want to save the seeds for my garden.

Not metrosexual at all. (read 'don't ask me about all that sensitive what are you REALLY feeling BS' cuz I will tell you straight up!)

me too ! much respect

Thank you Ma'am!

Same respect back to you!

Make sure you put the return address in there!

I want to make sure the hit-man gets the right person.

Sensitive as I am - don't want to get no innocent bystanders involved!

Nope - not saying you are a phony.

Just don't be so dadgummed militant about it.

Just talk to us here at home. Believe it or not - some of us actually know what you are going through - and some of us really care.

Sorry, but I won't be so easy on you.

If you don't know what is on paper, or what is in the Constitution of the United States - then why are you fighting?

And what are you fighting for?

You fighting for freedom?

For who?

I joined right out of high school cause i though my country needed me, but i see now it was a mistake, but i have until September of this year before my 3 year tour is done...i Joined for my country, my government. And if ya wanna know somethin... that piece of parchment in DC is just that a piece of parchmen nobody cares about it any more....but I AM AN AMERICAN COWBOY THE LIVING IMBODIMENT OF HARD WORK AND SACRIFICES!! I stood where none of my class mate and the balls to so there for i am more of a Man then any one of them!!

First of all, it was not a mistake if you believed it to be the right thing to do.

Second of all, if you think that piece of parchment is something that no one cares about anymore - then you joined for the wrong reasons.

The ideals written in that "piece of parchment" happen to be something that I and others in this country hold dear to our hearts.

Many in my family have fought and died for those ideals.

We did not do it because we "thought our country needed us." We did it for what we believed.

We knew what we believed in.

The question is - do you?

Well, it Was about the 9/11 conspiracy. Then I opened my mouth (fingers?) and disagreed with some folks.

People don't much like it much when you disagree with them - especially when you start confusing them with facts!

Pretty chilly here KS.

But eight dogs and lots of wood makes a difference.

And lots of blankets.

Did I mention lots of blankets?

No.

Well, lots of blankets!

"Any fool can criticize, condemn and complain and most fools do." Also a quote by Our founding father.

Nice dig.

I can appreciate that.

But most won't step up to the plate.

I will.

Even if it means that I am not what is considered 'politically correct.'

And that separates me from the fools.

Wow such petty acts to use spelling as a defensive stance. Andrea has been there for a while giving nothing but support to our troops.
As for myself I too have taken bullets and lost friends to this war. Common your views on this countries freedom apauls me. Why so much hatred?

No Hatred.

I dislike people who follow blindly.

I also know how forums work. Most will not read or follow the entire conversation. They will read the latest comments and follow the pack (as it were).

I say "know what you are talking about before you talk about it."

Here is what Ben Franklin says:

"They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security"

By the way, he is one of our "Founding Fathers."

If we didnt have Soliders over there fighting to keep us safe over here, who knows what would happen. Fighting to keep things over there sure in the hell is protecting all of our rights over here!

By the way - you spell "Soliders" - Soldiers!

thanks for the spellcheck... but i dont really care how i spell!

Perhaps you should.

we may not agree on that, thats fine, and i really dont have a problem with you, i have a problem with commonman for what he said about my friend.

once you have lived life as or with a Solider, your mentality of things change. i've seen good people go over there, and sacrifice it all. I know men who I will never get to see again because they have died fighting for this country, and I know men who will never lead normal lives again because of what they saw.

I have lived life as a "SOLDIER".

Several years and a couple of purple hearts later - I am what I am now.

Lost a brother in Viet-Nam and my Baby brother in Iraq in 91.

My family was a military family and it cost me a lot.

For your little freedom.

All I'm saying is that there wasn't a discernible threat to our freedom of speech post 9/11, except from our own government. Iraq was not threatening to go to war with us and take over our country and destroy the Constitution. I have far less trouble accepting an argument that they are fighting for our safety than an argument that they are fighting for our rights. And I still respect the soldiers equally regardless of the reason, but it's not the same reason.

Yeee-Haaawww!

My Yankee brother!

LOL so you think that they shouldnt have any down time, no time to communicate with family and friends, no time to relax and do something they enjoy. You have no idea what he does over there, so you can not sit there and say that. If it werent for him, and people like him, willing to risk their lives, our country would be a lot ****tier of a place to live!

Where did you get that out of my post?

By the way, I pretty much know where my knowledge comes from.

If I don't know where it comes from - then I worry.
