so I guess you have dozens of women lining up to meet you in the middle of the night? Yep, my friends are night owls. And yes I date at night, girls think its bad to drink at noon   I don't drink. Dating at night is one thing; meeting new people in the middle of the night is something else. If you can't get the distinction I am not going to bother talking to you anymore. Being a cop, at any hour of the day, should just mean that he should understand better that it might be dangerous. I was with 2 other people once, and we still got mugged. Life is unpredictable... there's a difference between spontenaity and stupidity. Did one of you have a gun? People useally dont mess with cops. Thought we were talking about being safe on a date with a cop? she has to get herself there. Your just as likly to get attacked day or night, people who mug others dont care. Only way to protect agaist it is to learn to defend yourself. |

what the difference between chating online in the middle of the night and at dennys? We're all up at midnight chatting-maybe we should go to bed and be normal. because we are safe in our homes and not out wandering the streets alone. Dennys isn't wondering the streets, but i get safty. Groups  well, unless there is a tunnel from her house to the Denneys. at some point she will be wandering the streets. at least back and forth to her car. Going from your car to a resturant is not wondering the streets. But fine-New rule no night activities |

going out in the middle of the night to meet strangers is not spontaneous; it is ridiculous. It is insane. If he says you are not spontaneous because of that he has some screws loose. lol he didn't say I'm not spontaneous, he just asked me, "I thought you were spontaneous..." and I said, "not that much..." I told him it was inappropriate to ask me this late, and he said it was okay. He is in law enforcement and he's not a jerk... he's actually one of the nicest guys I've talked to.. perhaps I should've given more background so I didn't paint him to look like a jerk... cuz he's not... Cops useally have weird hours, will probally get lots of these calls. |

Most people on these dating sites are just looking for sex. I'm starting to think a bar is better for a meaningful relationship, even just a friend. I think part of the problem is that people are selecting potential dates on the basis of photos rather than say, common interests. If you block the photos out of your mind and read the essays, you may find that there are plenty of quality people here. They are just not necessarily HOTT. It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are picking them based strictly on visual appeal, then you are falling into the traps of the ones who only want that kind of attention. Look for the more subtle ones. Slim pickens around here, ones that are not screwed by abuse- its oregon(highest % of child abuse in country-per capta) a person who has been abused can't be a good person? We can but were usally screwed up for meaningful relationships. Some of the kindest people I know, but it never goes away. there is a lot of truth to that ..I had things happen when I was young too..but someone told me that just because I was put on the potty backwards when I was three doesn't mean I can turn my ass around now. Your past does not have to be your destiny. your right it doen't, I been prety good about not letting it out, sometimes you just cant get over/through things |
