Hi all. I've just read that it's good to introduce myself so here I am. I'm a divorced English woman living in Slovenia with my two sons. I'm 54 and looking for a serious relationship with someone of a similar age that lives within a reasonable driving distance.

I couldn't agree more and men tell me that age doesn't matter to them, that I look younger than my years etc. That changes nothing, I AM older and my perspective on life is completely different. I have absolutely no interest in men who are much younger than me and if they start talking about how much better at sex they think they are than an older man, well, point proven.

Trust takes a long time to rebuild. Rather than focusing on having a relationship try focusing on making yourself happy. Invest in yourself. Do things that make you happy, fit and healthy. If someone comes your way then you'll be ready for it, if not, you can be happy without it.
