We were given a paper clip and one hour to go out into the resort (Hilton Waikoloa in Kona, Hawaii) and trade it for something of value, then trade that for something of greater value and so on. The team holding the record traded up to 1.4 million dollars (a house) and donated the proceeds to charity!

Our group, which we named "Snap" set our intention to blow away the past record!

We looked at the "Not Rules". One thing I learned from playing all of these games is there are rules and "not rules". The secret to winning is in what is NOT stated. It's all about thinking outside of the box. One rule was that we couldn't combine any of our own resources from our own group to add value to the paper clip. Hmmm... I wonder what the NOT RULE is? (That's the biggest hint I'll give you!)

Our first trade - we traded our paper clip for a business consulting package worth $2500 of services.

We traded our Business Consulting Package for a one week stay for six in a Lake view Vacation House in Lake Tahoe.

We called an friend/associate and offered him the house in exchange for something of greater value. He happens to be in the publicity business (did the publicity for the movie "The Secret") and traded us 3 months of PR consulting valued at $12,000! Now this was getting really exciting!

(We had to have proof of all of our trades so one team member was high tailing it to the business center to get an email receipt!)

Meanwhile, we got on the phone with another friend/associate and asked him what he could trade for the 3 months of PR. We needed something really big...time was running out and our intention was to break the record. We were down to the wire! And then our friend thought of it. He gave us 5000 vacation vouchers valued at $500 each.

So our grand total was $2.5 million! We did it! And just in the nick of time. We were called back into the room just as he was text messaging our proof to us!

you think it can be done?

no page editors find mistakes such as fragments and spelling errors in articals
there are people who just write headlines not articles
