Note about the calling thing. Wait at least a day, or most of it - unless there is some major event that came up (e.g. you found a pair of tickets for a game that night). It's a little needy if you call when you wake up, almost a little creepy.

That is unless it gets brought up before your previous date ends, in which case just go with what the two of you decided.

Nice guys still drink, smoke, go to parties and sporting events. I'm a musician, used to be an athlete, have the nasty habit of smoking and imbibe on occasion. On the other hand, I work Children's Camps over the summer as a volunteer counselor. I open doors and offer to pay for a meal or movie ticket. (I don't pull a seat out unless I know them fairly well, thats one of those invasions of personal space that make some people uncomfortable - the downfall of being 'too' nice.)


This is coming from a reprimanded and revised nice guy. I want to call in the morning, but realize that many girls are more comfortable with a little more time.
