Hey just more in the dating pool if there are aliens, as long as they aren't people eating, or world destroying. I think the biggest problem would be unknown disease! I think there would be allot of across the universe web cam marriages until we figure that out. That is how disease/bacteria doesn't kill both the population of our planets. Figure if they are intelligent that won't take too long!
