Well, here it's from the CDC. I am a regular smart azz, but I thought that I would offer a refresher course, courtesy of the CDC. Kind of depressing...

Common STDs: (Seven Topless Dames)

Chlamydia (it can make a female infertile and cause PID)
Genital herpes (not curable, and can pass w/out breakout) You do not want to get these!
Genital warts (careful, condoms don't always stop 'em) They usually go away, but sometime need tx.
Gonorrhea (antibiotics, can cause major problems if left untreated)
Hepatitis A & B (you may turn yellow, get a high fever, and barf a lot)
Syphilis (just gross, but treatable)

... and not to forget HIV/AIDs (still not curable!)

From what I read, most are treatable such as Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Warts, and Syphilis. Hepatitis A and B are treatable (and there is a vaccination for both) and can be risky, and complications from B can be ongoing; but Hep A usually clears on its own. Hep C is transmitted blood to blood only, so it's not on the list as STD, but many clinics treat it and if you are sharing needles or cocaine straws, or rubbing bloody cuts together (LoL), then you are high risk for Hep. C.

I hope I did not bum everyone out! During college I interned for a HIV non-profit, so I remember some of this stuff.
