There are many qualities that make up a man, integrity (a man must stand up for what is right even when others don't), honesty (both to himself and to those in his life), faithfulness (that goes without saying), but a man must also be a bes friend. One thing I think has been lost is the attempt to become friends before starting a relationship. A friend is someone who will listen to your sorrows and doesn't consider it a burden, and accept you for who you are even with all your flaws. A friend will speak the truth in love knowing that you may not want to hear what needs to be said. A friend gives you a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and words of encouragement. Being there as a friend is a forgotten quality....
