Only a very short time, but an eternity in no mail, no answers at all, or totally insane mail from the kids that could be my grandsons.
My feelings about this unspoken "rejection" are rather turbulent such as - "how can anybody pass up somebody like me? A treasure in every way, etc., etc."
I often wonder what makes people stay for years. Is is hope? Is is the thrill before you open the site that this time there will be a MAIL from a marvelous person?

I think that in general, men are guilty of a reverse bias - most of them want a woman short enough to look down at - in her heels. I am realy tall - 6' and even a 6' tall man wants a woman who is about 5'6" only. Foolishly, I married a man only because he was 6'5" tall and I could look up at him while in his arms. It goes without saying we are no longer together. I dated shorter men but yes, there was always that inch or two missing, although looking around, even in Hollywood, it seems that taller girlfriends are "in", but I guess not for everyone.

Hi there Carold,

Four years!! Wow, brave lady, I'll quit in a few months if there are no "improvements". Take care.
