Saw an angel by my window, didn't know if i was awake or dreaming
looked outside to see em all falling clipped wings and all
i wouldn't suggest that was gods idea but who knows if hes real at all
whats wrong with the world now? whats making all the angels fall?
there she was stumbling to get up acting like it didn't hurt to fall
but the tear fell down her dirt covered cheek and she hit the ground
the world stopped turning that moment and the sky rearranged the clouds
shed upon her with this ray of light and to her feet she stood...and took look around
they were all free to walk around and be whatever they wanted to be..to be free..
most didn't want to stick around they started to disappear
but she still stood there as beautiful as could be...
she walked up to me with every step more warmth in my soul
and face to face she came to me.. my knees went weak and my life flash by..
i had lost all faith until she stood before me..
and the angels danced in grace as a smile came to my face
an angel sent for me
