Central Iowa wasnt hit as bad as Southern Iowa. Something that I find particularly interesting is the casinos where being used as emergency shelters. "Here are your cots, blankets, and you will have access to public showers. However there are complimentary drinks in the poker room and rooms available in our hotel"

Anyone else out there currently in Iowa? I am in Des Moines right now and loving it, except for the freezing rain, ice storms, and cold weather.
