Why do people friend you?

They are just morons that go on networking sites "adding" people to their collection of imaginary friends so that they can look at it and feel better about their pointless existence. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

IDK. The people on my friends list are people that I actually e-mail/ have an on-line friendship with. I don't usually accept a Friend Request unless I've started connecting with them.

What is Home To You?
|
|
Such an interesting topic- love this! It is very timely for me.
I have many homes, p artially due to the fact that my parents split when I was young. I have homes that are actual specific buildings and homes that are with specific people. Often they intersect. For me, being Home is about being able to be myself, loved and accepted. ![]() My first home, pre-parents' divorce was sunny and warm and I was happy. It was in a great neibourhood and was a great family home. I would buy it back in an instant, if I had enough money! Home number two was my Dad's apartment; now, it is wherever he is. Home #3 was my grandparents house. Spent lots of time there, and with them. They have since passed, and their house is up for sale. A very TOUGH time for me, to lose them and one of my homes. ![]() Home #4 is a families' farm down in southern Alberta. Grew up spending time with them in the summers and other family times. The farmhouse is home, as is being with any member of that family. The parents are like surrogate parents for me. ![]() Home #5 is with my husband. Enough said. |
