Lack of photo and specific information.

Without an updated photo of the actual person nor synopsis
about themselves and what they're looking for in a relationship,
there's no way of knowing the actual person.

I would almost have to hire a swami sooth-sayer from the East
to divine the answers before even knowing the questions.

The main thing is this:
No portrait/picture, no synopsis/info = No Date.

And some of the ladies to seemingly take an interest in me,
are a bit too young for me (nearly 40 years my junior).

I tell ya', we're living in strange times nowadays...

Personally, I never use pick-up lines on the ladies at all.

(especially when it comes to people who make promises but never deliver),
in this familiar, yet wise old proverb:

Still, I find it difficult to understand why some people
find it convenient to talk the talk but never walk the walk.

as they're kinda corny and more likely to turn women off
in a heartbeat...
And thus, I'm often kinda quiet and reserved,
tinkering around on a project on my laptop,
and simply wait for an available girl to come
up to me and sort of"break the ice".

Kinda reminds me of the lyrics in chorus from a song I wrote back in 2003:

I basically use my laptop as I don't have a mobile phone.
Normally, I would use my desktop, but it needs to be serviced.

Yes indeed.
I generally play music and do a little bit of songwriting,
and so, music is the very fiber of my being.
Overall, my basic genres are rock, reggae, jazz, and blues,
and my instrument I play would keyboard and sometimes
a little bit of percussion,
plus I add vocal into the mix.

And 20 years later, in 1986, The Beach Boys
covered The Mamas & The Papas 1966 signature folk-rock standard,
"California Dreamin'....

I've got a lot of favorites, too many to mention...

Actually, the lyrics came from the song, "Elenore", by The Turtles.
In "Happy Together", it goes like this...

Imagine me and you, I do..
I think about every day and night, it's only right..
To think about the girl you love, and hold her tight..
So happy together.......

Now both of these songs sound almost alike.
"Happy Together" came out in 1967 and became The Turtles' biggest hit.
"Elenore" came out in 1968. The Turtles wrote this number as a
"parody" to "Happy Together", 'cause the big-shots of White Whale Records
wanted The Turtles to do another song with similarity to "Happy Together".

Lots of interesting trivia in the history of pop music,
and ya' learn something new every day.

I used to enjoy country more than 40 years ago,
but got bored and burned out with the genre in 1981,
when I came across a rock-n-roll oldies station, and thus
returned to my musical roots that go back to when I was
a little guy in the early-to-mid 60's.

But when I used to enjoy country, my favorites were
The Statler Brothers and the late Roy Clark.

Today, I'm more into rock, reggae, folk, folk-pop,
jazz, blues, Celtic, Caribbean, and classic R&B,
and not into country anymore.

Oh my goodness, there were quite a few favorites I've enjoyed seeing:
Three Dog Night at the Madera District Fair, Madera, CA in 1990.
Jan & Dean at the Madera District Fair in 1991.
THe ByRDs Celebration at the Ravalli County Fair in Hamilton, MT in 1997.
The Beach Boys at Ogren Field in Missoula, MT in 2010.

Back on my 23rd birthday in 1982, I took a bus to Fresno
to see Dick Clark's Rock-n-Roll Revue at the Fresno Fair's
Paul-Paul Amphitheater to see three veteran rock-n-roll artists
from the late 1950's and early 1960's, featuring:
Freddy "Boom-Boom" Cannon, Del Shannon(1934-1990),
and The Coasters, and in 1983, Papa-Doo-Ron-Ron did
a gig at the Madera District Fair.

And back on the day before Thanksgiving in 2012,
Huey Lewis (of Huey Lewis & The News) did a couple of jazz favorites
with a Missoula-based band called The Joan-Zen.
Huey also did a couple of numbers with another Missoula-based group
known as The Big Sky Mudflaps in 2013, about a week before the band's
keyboardist and friend (Steve Powell) lost his battle with cancer.

Huey Lewis has a place in Stevensville, MT, about 20 miles NE of me.
