i think it's necessary for the dating site to
make that compulsory so that it functions in a way alot of people date, within certain age parameters. we realize that some look older than they are, or younger, are more mature, etc., and they fall outside of what they consider their 'age group', but that's just the way it is. most 50 somethings don't hit the rave scene, just like 20 somethings don't hit the places they know are frequented by older generations. i'd rather know age upfront and not having to have that conversation leaves more time for the rest of the stuff we find important. i honestly don't put a lot of emphasis on age, and having it here has never been an issue for me. |

maybe they are so busy working on all the impressive
stuff that they forgot how to be dateable people themselves. who knows, but personally, i don't think it has anything to do with all that stuff. impressive is a relative term and people in general struggle with finding " perfect for them". some times you need to look outside the box. |

What really drove you to online dating? You act like it is someone's last resort. It's a tool, to expand your horizons. To meet people outside (or not) your comfort zone. To share ideas. Maybe meet someone special. It is a jump to a bigger pond, from a smaller one. Hang with more fish. Learn stuff. ^^this and a '57 chevy. |

yes, my current view is living together for a really long time is a fantastic idea. marriage isn't something to jump into, or take lightly, it's a significant committment which seems harder and harder to keep these days. so, i'm fine without ever getting married again, but i do keep my options open. and it will have to be barefoot on a beach....somewhere :) I think we all should move in with Soufie aned Krupa. so true, he said it twice ..hehe |
