i agree...we do get treated kinda bad. theres too much stress, and stuff and not enough pay. or benifits of the job. My friend has been working at McDonalds for two years and gets paid less than I do now, and I just started at Starbucks. We also get really good benefits. |

all mcds have the same policys. or at least thats what i've seen.. It just depends on the people working there. I love the interaction with the people, and the jokes with the little old men that come in, and the casual flirting with the young guys. so i tend to go above and beyond my call of duty there. I think McDonalds just needs to treat their employees better. Then maybe they would care more. |

You also have to differentiate between corporate owned stores and private owned stores. The private ones don't have the same customer service policies that the corporate ones do.

They're too obsessed with speed. Get over it, Jim Skinner. 1) What's wrong with being gay OR liberal? 2) The majority of people who come into Starbucks are either alone or with someone of the opposite sex, depending on the area. And, to Brenda... Although McDonalds may be like that in YOUR area, it'll never be like that in big cities such as Chicago and New York City. The only Starbucks that are bad in terms of customer relations are the ones that are not corporate owned. |
