This has been suggested before, and of course, it doesn't work. It can't work because even if you do not buy gas on a particular day, you still have to get the same amount of gas on a different day, so the big guys aren't out anything!
I'm in shock everytime I have to turn over more than $50 for a tank of gas. I think my truck's tank is growing!! |

The thing is, Jess, this type of thing is happening in cities all over the U.S., too. It does bother a lot of us, that a holiday we've loved since we were little kids is being torn apart by such craziness!
Love it or forget it! Just don't try to  destroy it!!

When the kids were little, I always waited till about the middle of December. We always made a big deal out of going to choose the tree, and everyone helped decorate.
Now that the kids are grown, I finally broke down and used an artificial tree last year, so I put it up earlier. I don't think I'll do that this year though. I start to get bored with it if it's up too long. The magic seems to go away when you need to dust the ornaments! |

 I love my My Space. I use it to stay in touch with my kids and my grandkids latest goings on. They say things on there to the whole world, that they wouldn't say out loud at home!!

No Santa that I've ever seen has bellowed out his "ho, ho, ho!" in a tone of voice that could possibly be mistaken for a rapper referring to a female in a derogatory manner!
