Drive with Father

A father, who worked away from home all week, always made a special effort with his family on the weekends. Every Sunday morning he would take his 7-year old daughter out for a drive in the car for some bonding time. One particular Sunday however, he had a bad cold and he really didn't feel like being up at all. Luckily, his wife came to the rescue and said that she would take their daughter out. When they returned, the little girl anxiously ran upstairs to see her father. "Well," the father asked, "did you enjoy your ride with mommy?" "Oh yes, Daddy" the girl replied, "and do you know what? We didn't see a single dumb bastard or **** head!" Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it? |

sometime you have to take another lap around that road until you find the right spot to sit a spell..found mine and I am staying with him there.

OK I screwed up trying to just quote the middle part of the poem  . What I wanted to say was that it is very hard to let go of fear in a relationship especially a new one. But if you don't let go of the fear it is the fear that will drive the one you love away. Been there and done that. 
Very sound advice and I done cleared the air with that and she is understanding about it and we are great still. |
