the road to love
has many twist and turns
through all of the turmoil
and the lessons we learn

the question we ask
was it worth it all
then a new love appears
and once again we fall

we experience happiness
then what its like to be sad
trying to figure out what is the truth
can drive a person quite mad

we learn how to express
the love that we share
we learn what its like
when they dont care

we sometimes choose the wrong people
just hoping something will change
only to find out our instincts were
right- these people are quite strange

but every once in a while there is someone
who becomes more than just a friend
thats where you know you have finally found

I love this last stanza Noel...I have found that one person in my life who is my best friend, my love, and my everything...and the road will never end.

sometime you have to take another lap around that road until you find the right spot to sit a spell..found mine and I am staying with him there.
