It depends on the context.

A girl I knew and liked id be polite to, sexy is bad.
A girl I didn't really know and liked I'd never call sexy, I'd get to know her first and see how we communicate.
A girl I knew, liked and was actually with or almost with I'd call sexy. It's an affectionate compliment that's been turned cheesy.

I find girls need honesty so that's how I play it rather than being over the top with fake compliments.

you sir, are very smart:thumbsup:

to me sexy is a compliment reserved for people that know me at least a little... you can't just walk up to me for the first time and call me sexy!! hell no! that's just wrong...to me though

I don't exactly trust women I don't know calling me "honey", "hun", or "sugar". For some women though, it is meant as nothing more than a pleasantry. So I just bite my tongue, and let it go.

i usually call everybody "hun" or "sweetheart" not because i necessarily mean it but that's what i'm used to saying...

well, from the title you might have an idea of where i am heading to..let me just elaborate a little..i think i'm speaking for most girls when i say we rather be called beautiful, smart, cute, pretty...(the list is endless) than SEXY! especially if you are just meeting the person for the first time.. why because, calling most girls sexy might mean to us that all your interests are sexual (which might or might not be so). so the next time you meet a girl, try calling her something nice other than sexy..smile2
