I am a passionate film lober of all genres but respect especially horror. So my list not just based on opinion but also on factual statements such as the exorcism causing almost or moderate riot or panic..its response was buried within the viewer and that can manifest itself as fear and violence...the realistic and taboo portrayal of horror in Hitchcock's psycho..but the 5 greatest are the shining exorcist psycho halloween nightmare on Elm street....the scariest film of all time I don't know
