She is going to be a school teacher and she could have been done with

also, 19. She is my angel...I call her my baby girl...I get to see her a
lot, now, since I moved back to TX....It is sooooo nice being back in TX

Glad I am in TX, for the winter!

We have white, cherokee, and black, in our family, now...thanks to my
niece who is with a black bf...they have two BEAUTIFUL boys! I,
personailly, am VERY VERY happy to see that happen because I grew up
with a step-father who did not like any race but the white race, which
made me feel VERY bad because my natual father was Cherokee. As a child,
growing up, I had very very dark skin and I did not fit in with my hafe
brothers and sister. Now that my niece has these two wonderful young
children I have seen the change in my step-dad and my brothers and my
whole family! It has brought ,everyone, together as one family unit and
the babies bring life to all of us and a LOT of joy!

I have tried to teach my kids to NOT EVER call anyone names or make fun
of them, in any way. I have been, somewhat, succecful in that my
children believe any kind of name calling is wrong. What, really, blew
my mind, though, is when My son and I moved from Texas to Indaina.
There, my son { then almost 14 } made lots of friends, right away of
every race. What was so weird, though, the black kids told my son, he
could NOT be friends with them unless he used the word, NAGGAR...Like
in: ''What's up, my naggar?'' It made me very upset, but I was able to
understand, after talking to my son's friends, that it was a fad...I
told them it was awful ''fad''. Any views on this?

Spay...going to Grandma's house is fun...are you bringing anything/ or
does Grandma do all the cooking? We have had it both ways, in our family
but all of us, years, ago, decided it would be less work, on everyone
concerned, if we, all, made something for the holidays. This will be my
1st Thanksgiven with my mom's family in many years. I cannot wait!
