Love… let me see what’s in Your hand,
let me peek at all that You have planned.

Love, I long for what You have in store,
and what is not, help me to ignore.

Love, may I gaze into Your eyes,
and see beyond love’s surprise.

Love, pull back Your mysterious curtain,
That I may wonder at all that is certain.

Love, let me hold on tight,
and wait for You another night.

I recall feeling love fall,
it felt like it fell, I do recall.

It fell and I felt a falling feeling,
and I'd fallen for this feeling I felt.

But later, I felt the feeling fall,
and then a fallen feeling fell, I feel.

I'd love again to feel love fall,
I fall for love I do recall.

Saved, I knew that heaven was my fate,
but not that You'd be waiting at the gate.

Longing to see You I've wondered late,
if for the multitude I'd have to wait.

But here You are with Glory that does not abate,
just because You'd be waiting at the gate.

Why the thought of this would cause debate,
since from eternity this moment You anticipate.

I've known Your love for me was great,
but didn't think You'd be waiting at the gate.

I know my heart will sing like a canary,
the day, I mean... when you should marry.

Of course you'll be the beautiful fairy,
adorned with blooms of plumeria and cherry.

I'd delight to even serve cake and berry,
to watch your face filled with such merry.

Though in my heart a thought contrary,
that I'd stand before you, the day you marry.

Wondering now why so hard I cried,
whenever it was that brethren died.

Seeing-em now along-side Father as they ride,
coming in the clouds to collect The Bride.

Meeting them part-way, faces come into view,
Jesus, Timothy, and... GRANNY, is that YOU?
