I'm a single mom to two boys. I'm so busy working full time, raising the boys, working at home, and keeping on top of the house and chores...I don't actually always have time to think about another person! Things don't always turn out the way you plan it, and the way things happen - sometimes it's for a good reason that we just can't see right now. It's tough, and we all have stories here, but I agree with some others here...the best thing to do is focus on your child, raise her the best that you can, and someone out there, deserving of the two of you, will find you one of these days. You'll be OK...and to solve your child's desire for companionship...get a dog? LOL:)
