Atheism only exist because God doesn't .... if God did not exist, then atheism as a belief and a definition would not exist. atheism as you like it only has any relevance because you have the free will to NOT believe that God exists. without God there is no atheism. however, without atheism, there is still God. |

Free will or 'Gods' will ?

Dragoness... tinabelle: You said... but he does know who will choose him and who will deny. God's will for our lives only applies when we choose to follow his direction.
Now why would 'God' have made a plan for someone's life if 'God' already knew that the person would not follow? That does not make any sense to me... CS it's because he has love for us. God always wants us to choose him. and he continuously tries to reach those who do not choose him. imagine this: you are the parent of a teenager. your child is not making good choices. but you love your child, so you refuse to stop trying to reach that child.... but as a parent, you KNOW your child. and you know that you will give your child certain options. but being caught up with friends, and fitting in, and having fun, and keeping up with the world, you know your child will choose his friends. but the next time, you still hope your child will make the healthy choice and get off the streets, and stop dealing with the wrong people...but knowing your child, you also know he will not make the best choice the next time either. God is that parent. he created us to have a relationship with him. he wants to bless us and give us the desires of our heart. but he requires obedience in return. we don't like to feel like we're being told what to do...so we don't accept his invitation to joy and eternity. we want to find it for ourselves... but he doesn't stop trying to offer us his joy. until he detects that our hearts have hardened to his invite. he still loves us-we were made for him...but eventually when we say no enough, he will honor our decision. parents don't stop loving their children...we eventually get to the place where we understand that we no longer have that influence, but the love does not cease. long-winded, i know...but i hope it brings a little clarity. |

God does not will bad things to happen. but if you are steady making choices that do not include God's guidance, then you must deal with the consequences of a choice made contrary to what God wanted for you. he has to allow you to reap the 'benefits' of your grown-up choices. |
