This morning was so much better. Last nite he got another day of tv taken away for not listening. So he is definately going to be bummed tomorrow when he can't watch cartoons! I don't think he realized that tomorrow is saturday. I am really seriously thinking about banned cartoons during the week. not a bad idea there. I dont normally allow my children to watch tv during the week as a general rule, during the school year. Now, I DO make exceptions occasionally, and allow the occasional movie, but generally speaking no tv at all during the school year WOW.....seriously????? Good for you!!!! |

Been married twice and would do it again. It's about trust and believing in family values which are slowly fading in this country. Trust and family values..... on your third marriage? Now that's just funny..... NOW NOW..... we don't know the whole story!!!

Hello everybody!!! Just getting home. Came home from Kaying (helping to teach 30 middle schoolers how to kayak for the next 3 wks.), to find the whole town awaiting the parade. I said to my neighbor "parade? for what?" duh!!!!!!! 911
 
They had a very nice memorial service afterwards also. The parade was lead by bagpipers and it was so touching and sad. My heart goes out to anyone who is dealing with the loss of a loved one. I visited ground zero last yr. and it was soooooo touching and such an eye opener.

Ohhhhhhhhh that's too bad!!!! My daughter who is in 3rd yr. Dental school is going to come north to meet me. I'll drive about 3 hrs. her 45min. and we're getting tog. w/ some of her friends that go to colleges around the area. It should be FUN....lots of fun. Lake George has an awesome Adirondack brewery....which I came in second place in the keg throwing contest last fall!!!!!! Yes I'm "strong"....so watch out!!!!!!!! |

Hey there (((Chuck)))) and (((Suzin)))) Looks like I might have missed both of ya's.....well have a fantastic day. Suppose to be sunny and in the 70's for the next two days. Trees are certainly changing colors now. Next wknd going into the Adirondacks for a HUGE HOT AIR BALLOON FEST. It should be gorgeous up there by then.

ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh and since I've talked w/ ya (((Chuck))) I'm a grandma again. Son had a little boy in May. My grandaughter (daughter's kid) is 21 months and talking up a storm!!!! So ya know what my other two kids are doing!!!! Working hard and raising families. I didn't want to be a gramma yet.....but I wouldn't change it for the world now!!! 
well I really hope Amanda decides to wait a few years and achieves some of her personal goals first Well that's what I'm hoping the two youngest will do. Stay in college and not even think about marriage until later in their 20's. I think they see what their older brother and sister are going through....and the struggle....so hopefully...... a college degree will be enticing enough to stay in school. |

How's everyone tonight? OH MY GOD PERRY!!!!! I haven't said a nice warm hello to you in like for Months and months!!!! How are you???? I'm good, it's nice to see you! How have you been? 
What concert did you just go to???? ZZTOP???? Yeah, it was Brooks and Dunn and ZZ Top. Oh my god last wknd a friend of mine and another couple went out for dinner in a really ritzy town on the St. Lawrence River. Ya know the 1,000 Island region of NY??? Well Rich of "Big and Rich" was renting Ringo Star's yatch for $150,000 for the week. So anyways....we're out to dinner and my friends' friend decides to tell the waitress that she best be asking my friend for an autogragh cuz it'll be her only chance. She asked if he was a rock star and we played along with it!!! We had her hooked really badly. Had her believing he was Billy Gibbons from ZZTop. Everybody in the place was staring at him. She asked him for his autograph and like a "Good Rock Star" would he signed it "Thanks for the wonderful service" Billy Gibbons 
We died laughing the rest of the night. |
