I really liked the movie Rock Star and especially the part when Chris (Izzy) Cole, aka Mark Wahlberg, is in the booth doing the audition to be in Steel Dragon. I got chills for some reason in that scene. Maybe the way the other people were reacting. Anyway, I just wanted to share that.

So here is something completely off the wall...

Suppose you believed is a pagan god system and wanted to call your god into your presence in order to ask a favor. You have worked out this elaborate ritual or maybe just learned it from other like minded people you know. In the ritual you make a circle with salt or something and chant the name of this being to summon him/her; chanting over and over until you get a response. When you finally get acknowledgement you ask your request and offer payment or whatever...not really the point.

Now suppose some creature far far below you like an ant for instance did the same thing. A bunch of ants gather in your living room of your house and start chanting your name miraculously in your native language so you can understand it. You become intrigued and interested in what the ?^* is going on. After you watch for a little bit they notice you are there and they ask you for a favor....maybe a giant pile of sugar or something. It doesn't hurt at all to comply with their request. In fact, you almost enjoy the attention. So you give the ants a pile of sugar. And why not. It is easy for you. Now suppose one ant says I want this particular ant to love me because that ant just acts like I am invisible. You think about it for a moment because this is not an easy task. I mean really, how are you going to do that. Then it comes to you. You wipe out all the other ants until it is just those 2 ants left. The ant who asked for the favor is now in utter shock and horror wondering what he/she had done.
