Hello, all my name is Mike and I am a Washington Country news reporter for the tips and info news and entertainment network. We just started broadcasting on youtube on Monday and we've been on facebook and twitter for about a month. Tazz42 invited me to this thread when she learned I was interested in meeting more local Oregonians. Why are they called apartments, when they're all stuck together? Why are there flotation devices under airline seats instead of parachutes? Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations? Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds? Isn't is a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice?" When sign makers go on strike, is anything written on their signs? Why isn't there mouse-flavored cat food?

Hello all I am Mike the Newsman and I am very new here. I am wondering if there is a live chat feature on this site which allows large groups to chat in real time. I see that this site advertises free chat but Im wondering if they just mean free one on one chat with someone on your friends list. Anyhow I would like to get to know as many people as possible so please add me as a friend
