Ok well we all know whats going on with Obama. That terrible pastor that he listens to. He wont put his hand over his heart to pledge alligence to the country that he wants to be president of. There were pictures of Obamam dressed in full Afrcian garb in Somalia. Wasnt Somalia the same the country that cheered as American soldiers bodies were dragged through the streets dead when we had gone there to help them?

Shows respect for that crappy country but not ours
I could do without this guy
What about you all?

Well his roots do stem to africa so why shouldn't he be able to express his heritage? true, somallians have no love for americans, then again, except for americans, who does? While he will become the Dem's candidate, He will lose to McCain, it won't be because he's black, It'll be because he isn't "american" enough to lead this nation in some people's eyes.

Yes, half of Obama's roots stem to Africa, but the other half come from Kansas, which you obviously do not know is in America. The statement that no one other than Americans love America sounds like something out of Rev. Wright's book. Additionally, the remark that Obama will lose to McCain because he "isn't American enough to lead our nation" is another Rev. Wright racist remark. Obama will lose because he is a racist; he is playing the race card and believes he can get away with it, because he is declaring himself to be black. However, a lot of Americans are angry that this man who is running as a unifier is doing nothing but dividing our country with his loyalty and allegiance to Rev. Wright, a man who is racist and anti-American.
Ok apparently you people are overreacting to what I said so I'll have to explain which I thought you'd be intelligent enough to understand, but apparently not.

1) The bit about his heritage. I know he's half-white, half-black, I know his mom is from Kansas and his dad from Africa. Whoop-de-do, big surprise there.

2) He'd be a fool not to use to race card. If it was a hispanic or an asian in his place, it'd be the same thing so if anyone's not being racist it's me. Despite his white heritage, the fact that he doesn't look white will be enough for some people to not vote for him and thats the truth of the matter, most white people will not admit that, but we all know its in the back of their minds, the votes will make that known.

Man...

I live for Saturday and Sunday games...
I am getting into the Serie A more and more as the technical quality of the players is just a sight to behold. And AC Milan is sucking this season - its a great time to watch Serie A!

The Premiership still seems a bit of the ol' 'kick and run'...except for my beloved Arsenal who play champagne football...even without Henry to finish their chances.

Of course in the US and Canada it is obligatory to have Fox Soccer Channel in your TV cable box lineup...

So what I am saying is that I am an addict. I have actually told women not to come over if a good match was in prospect on the weekend...

Yes it's that bad laugh
I'm with you there man, I've been known to pass up sex in favor of a good match up, I daresay I could be called notorious for it lol

Actually Romario just retired last week and he had over 1000 goals, but it was just over 1000, like 1004 or something, so its him and Pele now.

Pele is definately the best player of all time overall, he too has done it all except coaching. He's mostly popular with americans tho since he's the only player other than beckham that they know.

Every sport's got that athlete that's has stood out over the years to become "the" players like MJ, Gretsky, Joe Montana, Tiger woods, Dale Earnhardt, Michael Schumacher etc...

But who is it for the world's most popular sport?

I say as of right now, Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player in the world at the moment, he's been in a unstoppable form for United and he'll shine for Portugal in Austria/Switzerland this summer for Euro 2008.

As for the greatest player of all time:

For me, It's gonna be Franz Beckenbauer aka "Der Kaiser" the greatest defender the game has ever produced, he's done it all. Won the world cup as a player and a coach, he's won the CL with Bayern so many times, he's even played a match with a discolated shoulder and still scored a goal! He's been an influential person to the sport for 50 years now since making his debut in Sweden '58, he's even helped the sport grow in America as part of the ultimately ill-fated NY Cosmos.

Who do you think is the best player of all time and of now?

I agree with you on Franz Beckenbauer. However, I would like to add Uwe Seeler to that
Yeah Seeler was awesome, gotta add mueller, ruminegge and Voller to the list of germans as well

also soccer goalkeeper.

you gotta be absolutely nuts be a keeper. its much like a hockey goaltender minus the padding and swich small puck for size 5 soccer ball. these guys dive right into the fray, often being kicked and cleated all over by players trying to score and all of this just to get the ball.

Midfielder in soccer, you gotta have crazy endurance to play both offense and defense the whole game, usually they catch most of the flak from the coach, very tough position, you gotta love it to be good at it.
