pepole are so judgmental in this world. we are not to judge others.


I don't think it's judgemental to have criteria matching your tastes in a potential partner. It would be wrong to discount someone's personhood but I think is is O.K. to know and state what you want and don't want in your life.

All Christians were Catholic for the first 1500 years of Christianity.

It is largely a medieval organization.

It has many forms of mysticism and many different paths of spirituality that are under its umbrella.

It seems to be the Christian church most interested in what you can do for God and others and not so much interested in trying to sell you on what the church can do for you.

It believes in miracles and science.

It believes in the inter-connectivity of both faith and reason.

It believes that we are all persons and are more than the sum total of our chemicals and physical make-up.

It believes that there is more to existence then what you can touch. There exists the supernatural.

It allows for evolution. Responsible drinking is O.K.

It avails itself of all of the gifts that Christ left us.



Those are a few things I could think of in a short time. They are either pros or cons.
