This is a great topic, it has puzzled me for some time now. My ex bf liked the fact that I am fairly independent and know how to fix things around my house. Then he got mad and said I was too independent! He told me guys need to feel wanted and needed, I asked why should I bother someone if I am capable of fixing something small myself? I wish I knew what the "happy medium" was.


I don't think there is one. I just can't bring myself to pretend incompetence so a guy won't have his ego shattered. It's all so unneccesary.


I agree with you, to me that would be the same as telling a lie.

You do have a great profile but I also think the "tummy" shot is not the best pic to have for your main one.
