I'm a 43 year old woman and it seems that I get picked up on more by younger men than I do men my own age. I recently broke up with a boyfriend of 3 years who was nine years younger than I am. He was abusive but I don't believe that had anything to do with his age. Recently, I've dated a man who is 31 and another who is 28. I believe that, to some degree, age does matter but maybe that's my own opinion since I look at the future as well as today...would he still want me in another 10 years when I'm in my fifties and he's barely reached 40?? That's my own fear though.
For now, I'm just enjoying dating and I try not to allow thoughts of what the future would be like to ruin what's going on today.
If a younger man finds you attractive and wants to spend time with you, it's a wonderful compliment and hopefully you'll just enjoy your time with him.
