It’s not that I see any clearer. Candles have a thirst for darkness, as does the moon or coffee, or religion. my favorite part. excellent work, for sure. there's a great deal of life in these words.

again, the tone is perfect - it seems slightly detached and surreal which adds a strangely personal appeal to the piece. terrific stuff.
