I follow you silently
Hiding inside the shadows
Hoping you will not notice
Yet also desperately hoping you to see me.

I trace your every steps slowly
Taking my time to relish the moment
While you were there, busy living
I was just a silent spectator watching you move

I listen to every breath you make
Softly
Wishing I can say something in return
But realizing there’s nothing I can do
So I retreat back to silence
And contented myself from listening to you

I look at you
Staunchly
You were smiling that time
And I can’t help but imagine
You were smiling at me
But I was merely nothing
A fantasy created for the young

And I wish
That you will see beyond me
You will see beyond the stardust I scatter
The wings fluttering in my back
The wishes I have made come true
Yes, I hope it will come true

When you will see me not as a fairy
Not as a fantasy-brought-to-life
But as a woman
A woman who wanted nothing more but to be with you…
But when a fairy wishes...
Who makes it come true...?

And if by accident...
You might notice me
What will happen then?
My greatest fear...
For it not to matter...

So i'll content myself here in the shadows...
Nothing but a silent spectator of your every move...
Sprinkling fairy dust
Fluttering across lands
And stuck in these wings
Granting other's wishes...
While mine remains waiting...
