IN a world alienated from our Creator, sex outside of marriage has become normal. This normalcy started to gain widespread acceptance in the 1960's, a time when the moral fabric of American society began to come apart --what with the Beatles, woman's lib, the Vietnam War, the hippies, marijuana, LSD, the "free love" movement, and homosexuality. We now live in a world where what is good is called bad, and what is bad is called good by the media, the entertainment industry, Hollywood (of course), and academia. Our society is fast becoming another Sodom and Gomorrah --if it hasn't already become that. God's patience and mercy are great --but He will not tolerate perversion forever.
The answer t0 the question presented here, then, is that sex is ONLY proper between a man and a woman who are married. Sex BEFORE marriage is fornication --a gross sin against God; sex by a married person with someone other than that person's spouse is adultery --an even grosser sin against God; and sex between persons of the same sex is homosexuality --a gross aberration. Now, I well know that my comments will not be liked by most people in this ultra-liberal society of New York --and probably not by most people elsewhere as well. But, as Julius Caesar himself said, "People will believe what they want to believe." And the prophet Isaiah exclaimed in Isaiah 5:20, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil."
