Leaves tend not to change color here, but we do have a couple of trees on the property that provide plenty of leaf clean-up, on a monthly basis, not just during the fall season, haha.
Wonder if Slim has thought of making leaf clean-up something that is more fun... like imagining frolicking through the leaves as he rakes them up? |

Tired, but very happy and satisfied with having my place all set up nice and homey, before starting my work week tomorrow. Glad you're doing well, River! Nice that you've got your place set up the way you like it! I moved into my new apartment here in Phnom Penh a little over a month ago, but I've done nothing to make it more homey. I need to get cracking on that! My apartment comes with weekly cleaning and linen changing. I love that, but it means I need to keep the bedding that my apartment came with, which is plain white, like hotel bedding. I think I'll get some throw pillows with Cambodian print on them to try and add some color. I'd definitely love that, haha! Glad you're doing well too, Dramatic Muffin. I'm sure as you settle in, you'll add small touches to make it more homey. My home is on the other lot of the property. There's still a lot of renovations to be done, but it's an upgrade from where I was, so I'm happy, haha. I set up the living room area as an efficiency apartment, while work is being done on my bedroom. The best part of it is I don't have to share it with other family members, lol. The other mobile home, where I was, is the designated communal home for family. Which is nice, it's like a transition home for those in need, or just visiting. My 20 year old niece is staying there right now, until she figures out what she wants to do. I hope you enjoy your new apartment! OT ... Feeling refreshed! |
