I didn't realize that my profile is not really that long compared to other people's on the site. It's all good then, I suppose :)

I've been on Mingle2 for a while and landed here on JSH through the merger. It's a beautiful place you've made here! While the site looks great I'm still just learning about the people that make it tick.

So here's my first post on JSH's forums. If this place turns out to be interesting enough, perhaps some more posts will follow :)

I'm no stranger to forums. I'd better not even get into that, but let's just say that there are (literally!) tens of thousands of posts by me on various forums around the web. I'm not trying to brag (that's hardly bragging material right there) but just wanted to make clear that I'm no noobie to posting, but simply new on JSH.

And that brings us to the actual topic idea. I just did some mutual matching.. and I find that people's profile texts are short. Real short. Mine, in contrast, is a book. Is it too long? It's gotta be. Am I missing the point of that profile text box? It certainly seems that way.
