Yea, people do seem to take the topics that want to "use" from the bible and ignore the other stuff...... I am a believer......I am proud of that fact.However many others are not...and that is their choice as well.It may sadden me or even make me a lil upset sometimes but here's the facts...We as believers are expected to help spread the teachings and beliefs.We are to try and save other peoples souls from the depths of dispair and bring them to the light. So he says...My life is not in dispair....and even if it were...what's to say God is going to help it any.....Do you breathe air? Do you see it? could you live without it? Is there life anywheres else? many questions have always plagued society sir.....Belief and trust with love in something you can not see......you may not love the air...but you have to have it...you can't see it...but you trust and believe it's there....... I'm not trying to take that away from you. I have no problem with you being religious, but when you say spreas the religion, it just sounds kind of forceful. maybe i'm wrong, but should religous views that one has, be kept to themselves? I mean as long as you're happy believing in what you believe in. I would never try to sway anyone away from their beliefs. That's why i get quite angry, when ppl say i'm mis-guided, or un-informed, or a fool. It just seems, that there's always something to constantly pick away at me, just based on the fact that I'm not religious. Becoming religious once again is a personal choice.You will have to always make up your own mind.Being religious comes from within....some people do not feel this within.Maybe just because ...or because something hasn't happened in their lives that has sparked it...however, and no matter which way it is...it is my firm belief that each and every person will have at least one experience in their lives that jolts it into them....this time may come for you or it may not. Either way, I wish you the best my friend. To have a good conversation, is to have two sides. The conversation's might get turned into debates, but even so, I think you get a new or fresh idea of where people are coming from. The fact that I'm not religious does not mean I have been this way my whole life. But as I grew and learned as a person, I developed new beliefs. |

lol, misinformed or misguided. so what you are saying is that UNTIL i believe in God that I'm not right. you totally are saying that. you know, i could see you on the street, and you could be short-changed or something, and i would help you out. i would in know way ask you what your religion was, and even if i knew, i'd still help you out. but some of you on the other hand seem you would turn a blind eye to someone like me. does the bible not say do unto others...? Some people would indeed turn from you. A tree with fruit is not sweet til it ripens on the tree. Some religious folk think they are ripe, but really green, leaving a nasty taste in your mouth, sour. Some have ripened, become sweeter. Stick around. I welcome you. And yes, I do matter.

Our nations constitution also protects your freedoms. well un-informed one, i'm not from your nation. Canada eh? Not many do believe in Canada. Well, as it may be....I...."the uninformed one" have others to inform...that care to be informed...for your lost soul my friend...I bid you a good day and may you have luck down the road of life. Not too many believe in god in Canada? ok, I'm sorry, but that is quite an ignorant thing to say. I know lots of religous ppl. I was brought up in a catholic family myself. yeh we may be a smaller poulation that the states by like 200 millions, but ratio wise, I'd say religion is fairly close, as far as believers go. |

You look happy---that is good. Have you studied spiritualism at all? I consider myself spiritual, and it's not that I wouldn't want to believe in something such as God. I just don't see myself ever believing in such a thing. I beleive in the good of other people. I am gonna go to school in the fall and take psychology and sociology, and I want to get into social work. I have had a pretty hard life, have lost alot of friends at an early age, and have been through so much. I would like to be able to help others who have had it just as hard or even harder. The only person you can truly judge in life, is yourself. |

I'm perfectly happy not believing in God. 
So just cus I don't believe in God, I must not be good in your eyes then? Because honestly, I'm a nice guy, and I get along with almost anyone, and I'm usually not judgmental. I just wish that certain people who are religious could accept the fact that not everyone is the same. I have no problem with those who do believe in a higher being. For myself though, I see too many contradiction's and paradox's in all religions. So I see it as, my life is a lot easier, just believing in myself and those around me, and having faith in them and myself, as opposed to a higher being. |

Of course. Look at the icebergs melting. Pollution has caused this mess. Polar bears are endangered due to lack of food. Animals are coming down out of the woods and attacking people because they don't have their normal prey for food. The game don't have their normal fat to get them through the winter (the bears and all). The hurricane seasons are getting worse. Somebody posted it was snowing in Arizona today, in May?? That is not normal. The weather patterns are out of whack. That will mess with the crops, etc. Man is at the bottom of the food chain, and we may be the last to feel it, but we will. Endangered, and extinct are things that are natural. We humans are pretty ignorant to stop it if you think about it. Look at the dinosaurs they became extinct, but only because we weren't there to mess that up. Weather patterns are out of whack but this is what over 10 maybe 20 years. May I be reminded of the ice age. The world isn't going anywhere, we are. |
