How long does it generally take to start getting mail?
I’ve only two nibbles in two days. One deactivated in the middle of a convo. He was too handsome to be realz anyway. The second sent two short notes and........silence. Heavy sighs!

No, not near a cliff. Got my airline ticket, now I just need to book a hotel for the overnight in Denver. I decided to book the shorter day flight instead of the overnight one. But I still have to spend the night in a hotel. This way though I can get there early and enjoy the hot tub.

Eh i'm more of the redbox and happy meal type. 
I'm not all that romantic i guess. 
Bring candles for the happy meal dinner and choose a romantic movie, turn the lights down low and you'll be perfectly romantic

I agree they are alive and well.
If you want romance, you must date a romantic. A woman can’t date a man who doesn’t prescribe to romance and expect him to be overcome with the urge to suddenly be romantic. |

I wonder how does the sound of a kiss on line is really spelled ? Is it tsssuuupp or mmmwah or is there anything else  does it depend on the virtual kiss you would want to give?
I have used Mmwah. But I don’t make too big a habit of kissing virtual strangers.
P.S. You have me making a variety of kissy noises and trying to spell them. I’ve never been more glad the shades are drawn.

My sister and niece encouraged me to join and gave me all kinds of advice. Then they got mad because I spent all my time on Mingle.
Just spoke with my new boss to let her know when I'd be arriving. Technically I can get there on the 12th, but would like a little time to regroup, shop for work pants, and visit with my son. He can take me on the 12th or 14th. She said the 14th was fine, and to save the receipts for my pants so they can reimburse me. And they pay for the ferry ride over! Pretty cool, thought I'd have to take care of both those things. That’s wonderful! The transition will be smoother if you don’t have to rush rush rush things. I will confess that the ferry ride was one of my favorite parts of both of my trips there. I have to be up top no matter how chilly it gets.

I was thinking about leaving some of my winter stuff at my sons, but forgot that it will still be a bit chilly there. It's been known to snow in the middle of April in Northern Michigan. Grand idea! I didn’t know that. I do know it can start early there. When I was a kid in Minnesota, I remember a heavy snow the day before Halloween once. At the end of the season don’t forget to leave before the lake freezes over. I hear it’s a long cold walk to the mainland.
The position ends the first week in November, Halloween is the last big thing on the Island, then most leave. Yes, it would be a long cold walk. I'd take the little plane though rather than walk, lol. Down in Florida it was a lot easier to have small wardrobe. Summer and spring clothes only. They weighed less and were less bulky. That's one reason I'm waiting to get to Traverse City before shopping, I won't have any room for more clothes
Then you may see some snow before you pack up. I hope it’s not a bicycle propelled airplane.

Hi Bailey, nice new picture
Some of the places I had applied to had either spotty internet or none at all. Not an option right now, especially when I have to search for a new position after the summer one. And I'd go through Mingle withdrawals
I can already tell this is going to get addictive. By 4 o’clock, I was thinking, “one hour until Mingle...1/2 hour until Mingle.
But I had to stop at the grocery on the way home. 
And thank you! More recent pictures without hats and sunglasses were part of the unsolicited advice I was subjected to at work.
