Sifting thru the pieces
of all the broken dreams
The future was almost everything
it was planned it to be

When drastic changes stop your world
and pieces start to fall
their isn't much that one can do
to get thru it all

As time goes by you look
some pieces are around
Do we gather, do we rebuid,
or leave them where they're found?

Maybe plan a new dream
With goals that can be reached
in such a way I will succeed
my goals cannot be breached

This is how I used to think
it's harder then it seems
to try and build a new plan
upon the broken dreams
