Faith and miracles are two separate subects. One has nothing to do with the other.

Of course Jesus IS God, always has been always will be. He said, I AM. The same thing God said in the Old Testament to tell the people that He is God. The disciples were eyewitnesses and died for what they believed. Who would die for a lie? We're talking about ten men, not one or two.
