Joanie was one of my first female rock idols..loved her when she was with the Runaways... Love The Runaways too! Loved Joan first but then started listening to The Runaways and loved them too :) |

Crimason & Clover is my favorite song of hers. Crimson and Clover is not her song. It is Tommy James and The Shondells song. She does do an excellent cover though. I agree with you PMarco, Lita Ford and The Runaways kicked azz. I know it's not. I just meant it's one of my faves that she performs. The Runaways were awesome too. I just wish I had found out about them earlier and it didn't take a movie to turn me on to their music :) |

She is playing at the Kentucky State Fair this year........  Yeah I've seen her tour dates and been watching her closely :) I saw her in Tunica, Mississippi on July 30th and it was indescribable. I'm watching now to see if she comes somewhere near me where it's feasible to go see her perform again |

I was listening to "Bad Reputation" on my way to work this morning, had to crank it. Never seen her live ,would luv to though. I was once at a wedding where the bride and groom's first dance was "Crimson & Clover" . Best first dance ever. Oh she's unbelievably amazing live. Just as good if not better than on cd which is definitely uncommon. Crimason & Clover is my favorite song of hers. Bad Reputation rocks. I always have her cranked on my stereo in my car |

I admit it freely I am a Twilight nut! I started out adoring the books. Have read them all 12+ times. I don't even know how many times I've watched the movies. The love story is just magical to me.
Also, I adore the movie The Runaways. I am a Joan Jett nut as well so finally having a movie come out about her was amazing. And having my fave actress play her and do it so well was awesome. |
