Today I walked,
tonight alone,
shackled in,
skin of bone,
dream away,dreams
of home, a single
place that once id
known, storms of
torment, strong and
hard, reminders of
those fatefull scars,
life has it turned
around, part pieces
of the dusty ground
hills iv had to climb
paths of dirt and pain
tears shed as i stumbled
in the rain, taken left
taken right yet hills are
the only paths i can sight
had the choice, was given
the chance. yet the path i
choose is the path of my heart.
