Let me tell you a story about I German gal I met in Iran a few years ago. I asked her out to dinner. She said yes but only if she paid her share. I said sure. I wanted to get to know her. Later I asked her why she insisted on paying her share. She said it was because if anything happened later in the evening it would be because she was attracted to me and not because she felt obligated because I bought dinner.
