Thank you, so much, everyone. And yes, I am now a mommy... Though I swear, I will NEVER do that again! Some complications ensued and I am still here in the hospital since Wednesday. Hopefully get to go home tomorrow, but we'll see what the doc says about my healing.

My boy is beautiful, and already has a personality the size of Texas. He loves to be awake when he's with ANYONE else but me; as soon as he gets in my arms, he crashes. But I love him, and he is absolutely gorgeous. I'll have to get some pictures up soon.

I get admitted to the hospital tonight, and get induced tomorrow... And the excitement alone is enough to make the days fly by for me. I am so happy for you pretty lady! Congratulations!

On Thursday, I get induced to bring my first child, Colton, into the world. I have loads of support, but I want to know if any of you parents (or not) have any advice of any sort for a young, single mother?

Well, who exactly are you to say anything about how good or not of a guy he is? You don't know the situation and you don't know him, so I think it's unnecessary to post your negativity here.

You have to be patient, first of all, and the best way to meet people is to join the forums, and talk to people. The real you shines through when you participate in conversations.

And I don't mean to be a stickler, but you say 'win someone's heart' then say you haven't 'hooked up' with anyone, and those two phrases are very very different.
Hooked up implies you are only looking for a one night stand or someone to share a bed with and nothing else..

But like I said, join the forums, and get to know people.

Girl, you do whatever you and your doctor have discussed and do not let anyone sway that decision. I wanted to do mine natural but there is a pretty high chance of having to do an emergency c section, so I will need to have a small dose epidural so if need be, they can use that to numb me for the c section, instead of having to put me completely out. But kudos to you. Most women don't have the balls to even think about going all natural, let alone actually try it. I will say, don't be completely closed minded about getting pain meds if it gets to be too much pain for you. But other than that, I commend you for wanting to do it natural, and sticking by your guns. And don't listen to all the negativity.

And yes, I would rather play than watch... It's no fun to just watch! Although, it might be easier just to get super drunk beforehand, so that way, when I lose at quarters, I won't remember. Haha

This argument is as old as time. If someone could figure out what it was like in the head of the opposite sex, they'd make a trillion and two dollars and we could all stop ragging on the other sex for the bad apples in their gender.

Honestly, I am a woman, I have dated 3 guys in my life. One of which lasted three years... And in my opinion, 2 of them were not very good boyfriends, but it's not fair to say just because I got 2 outta 3 bad ones that ALL men stink or are bad. And I know I'm gonna catch hell for this, but any girl or guy who says that ALL of the opposite gender are bad from their ONE bad experience with them will find that I really don't have time for them.

We can all sit around and complain all day, or we can accept that there are people of each gender that just, in general, suck. And there will always be people of each gender that just suck. Nothing you or I or the man in the moon can do about it, so what's the point in letting everyone know that you aren't a big, mature enough person to let go of your 'man hating' or 'woman hating'. Honestly, it's just time to grow up.

My two cents. And, for the record, this was not aimed at any one person... Just food for thought.
