Con Funk Shun- (Let Me Put Love) On Your Mind

You hide in your room
You won’t share your love with
nobody else, well, well
You feel safe and warm
Locked in a world that you made for yourself

Don’t you think it’s time
You tried to find
Someone (Someone) to take care of you, oh

Let me put love on your mind
Let me be the one to put a smile in your life
Let me put love on your mind
Let me put love on your mind

You can’t go on
Hiding your feelings your whole
life through, oh, yeah
You’re being half a woman
Oh, until love becomes part of you, yeah

Don’t you think it’s time you tried to find
Someone (Someone) to fulfill your
needs, oh (Yeah, yeah)

Let me put love on your mind
Let me be the one to put a smile in your life
Let me put love on your mind
Let me put love on your mind

Don’t you think it’s time you
tried to find (Oh, yeah)
Someone to fulfill your needs, oh (Needs, yeah)

Let me put love on your mind
Let me be the one to put a smile in your life
Let me put love on your mind
Let me put love on your mind

Let me put love
(Oh, baby, yeah)
(Make you feel safe and warm,
safe and warm, yeah)
Let me put love
(Oh, baby, yeah)
Let me put love on your mind

Good luck finding processed foods without high fructose corn syrup in it.
Yep, over 70% of all the food sold in the grocery market contains corn in some form. One of the reasons is that it's also a preservative, which = longer shelf life, which = more money for the stores.... smokin

My goodness....

I'm sure they could find something else to use that isn't so bad for your health....

To me the term baggage, has to do with negitive experiences. While people tend to learn thigs best the hard way, some of us allow our most troublesome relationships from our pasts to affect, and in some cases do severe damage to our current relationships.

Well this thread is about positive baggage...
All life experience is not negative....

Having baggage is one thing.

Expecting someone else to carry it for ya is quite another.

Nope you have to carry your own baggage. Asking someone else to do it is just plain rude....

I'm proud of my luggage I mean baggage - well except when I snap at my new lover and call her by the wrong name lol

Fresh wounds may present a challenge, but life experience is more valuable than gold I wouldn't take any of it back.

Funny thread

Now calling your new lady by your old flames name is a serious no-no......

I've seen what hitting children can do, and none of it is positive.

It turns a lot of them into angry, abusive adults. JMO

Good luck finding processed foods without high fructose corn syrup in it.

I remember a few years ago there was a commercial on Nickelodeon about food ingredients that rhymed with "gross".

Any word that rhymed with "gross", was sugar.

They add it to almost everything. It's really sad when you think about it.

There's a lot of packaged food at trader joe's, whole foods, etc that have no HFCS. glasses

Never heard of Trader Joe's...
Probably none where I liveohwell

In relationships, the term baggage seems to have a bad rep. When people mention they are looking for a relationship, they usually add that they are not interested in anyone with baggage or an excess of it.

When I think of baggage, I see life experiences (a mind-set, life circumstances, or values), that mold a person into what and who they are.

Not having, so called “baggage” in ones life would seem as if that person never had any life experiences. Could you date someone that had no baggage at all?

Choose someone that knows how to find joy in the intangible things in life. They store their hopes, dreams, aspirations, love, tolerance, justice, and beauty in suitcases or trunks. And are willing to share their inner self with you.

They are able to take the good with the bad, and the bitter with the sweet.

And that is just fine with me.

I say, baggage can be a good thing. Show off your inner steamer trunk!

Heart...flowerforyou I happen to have a u-haul full...

I'm sure a lot of us do, we just won't admit it....flowerforyou

Stevie Wonder - Superstition live on Sesame Street

Very superstitious, writing's on the wall
Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin' strong
You don't wanna save me, sad is my song

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, yeh, yeh

Very superstitious, nothin' more to say
Very superstitious, the devil's on his way
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass
Seven years of bad luck, good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you suffer
Superstition ain't the way, no, no, no
