I agree, I even tried to start a game forum where there was more in depth discussion about people actually getting to know each other more, but it died out... dunno if people just don't want to be adults and sincerely meet people of interest or if they're sceard but the lack of "below the surface" discussion is a bit disheartening.

that's a great idea Speaking as a child who grew up with a single mom, and HAD a lot of guys in and out (most of which were pretty crappy), I applaud you.

I realized that I was getting nowhere "giving everything" to some god who was supposed to "magickally" take care of me. I believe in self discovery, self realization and self healing. Do I believe in deity? I believe in many deities. But I believe they are their to guide us, not hold our hand. It finally got through my thick skull that this life and everything in it.. where we are in life, how we make it, is a choice. That's what lead me to witchcraft. It's all about taking full responsibility for everything. And learning to change your life through self discovery.

I'm still waiting for the leaflets to be dropped over our cities and towns... and for that person who is having a hard time with the comparison, Hitler didn't start out the monster he became, but he did show signs... the same that bush displays on a regular basis. (disregard for the world community, personal interest in every action taken, running a theocracy, not a democracy.)

The Japanese culture as a whole both fascinates and intimidates me... not to mention most of the other Asian cultures as well. (Chinese, Korean, etc) Just to think of how old their cultures are, especially compared to ours... very complex cultures to try and take in.

Sweet! music is by far the greatest passion of my life, I've been in roughly 5 bands, (none of which made a name for themselves :P) except that the last band I was in got to the point of hooking up with a producer, then people got married and it fell apart

mostly through escape... I'm proud to say that I grew up hard, it made me expand my mind and find ways to enjoy life with out the aid of money and material "things".

I celebrate all of the esbbats (moon phases) with ritual honoring the goddess Ceredwen, and with most of the Sabbats as well (i.e. Beltain, Samhain, etc) rituals generally consist of drawing the circle, calling of the ellemental corners and drawing down the Goddess, invoking the God or both. There can be other elements as well but those are some of the main components. (with a lot left out, didn't think you wanted to read a book ) I promise theres nobody boiling in a cauldron lol

So there's a lot of cheesy stuff on here to "break ice" and stuff, the whole start with something cheesy and it could start a bigger discussion... the object of this game is to ask the person above you a question (where the answer isn't on their profile) and then have it answered by them... (then of course they get to ask you something ) I just thought it might be a good way for people on here to ACTUALLY get to know each other Pleas keep this light hearted and have fun
